Loretta Bremer posted a condolence

I am so sorry to read of Alberta's passing. I will always remember her for her sense of humour. When she made me laugh, it wasn't me putting my hand over my mouth and stifling a laugh, but a full-blown laugh that echoed throughout the corridors of St. Martha's. I remember she once had an elderly male patient to whom she was giving a sponge bath. He asked her to do his crack. She responded by saying, "I do windows, but I don't do cracks." I told that to my husband of 44 years. To this day, he still laughs. I know Alberta will rest with a smile on her face.
With love, warmth and kindness,
Loretta Bremer, Calgary

Condolences, Love and Prayers to the Izzard and family with the loss of Alberta (Williams) Izzard. We will be Lifting you all up in our Prayers in the coming days which will be difficult with the loss of your beautiful wife Alberta. It is at this most difficult time that our family would like to leave with you a passage from The Holy Bible Psalm 23, "The Lord Is My Shepherd I Shall Not Want, He Makes Me To Lie Down In Green Pastures, He Leads Me Beside Still Waters, He Restores My Soul, He Leads Me In Paths of Righteousness For His Name Sake, Even Though I Walk Through The Shadow Of Death I Will Fear No Evil For You Are With Me, Your Rod and Your Staff They Comfort Me, You Prepare A Table Before Me In Presence Of My Enemies, You Anoint My Head With Oil, My Cup Overflows, Surely Goodness And Mercy Shall Follow Me All The Days Of My Life And I Shall Dwell In The House Of The Lord Forever."
