I am really sad to hear of Carrol’s passing. My sincere condolences go out to his family he grew up with and as well the family and friends of Nunavut. I have spent time with Carrol in the North as well here in Nova Scotia. Carrol was very respected and loved very much by his Northern family. Carrol spent many over nights at my place with his best friend “Rory” by his side. What really struck me about Carrol was his love and passion for the Inuit Culture.

To Carrolls' family
On behalf of the family please accept our most sincere sympathy on Carrolls' passing.
Such a great businessman and what an author.
His literary work has a place in my library and the reading will always be a treasure.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sending our condolences on Carroll death
Carroll was a groomsman at our wedding in October 1968
and our capable chauffeur on that wet and windy day.
Hugh and Carroll were grade school buddies and had many adventures together
Including a hitchhiking trip to Washington DC.
He was a good friend

Carroll was our first door neighbour on Hawthorne Street, Antigonish for over 30 years. He was a good
friend, and a good neighbour who stood with us in joy and in sorrow....need I say more.
Rest In Peace, Carroll.
