I met Linda on the day that she announced to our blood support group (AAMAC) that she would be getting a bone marrow transplant. From that day on she displayed an incredible amount of courage, perseverance and hope. She has been an inspiration to me and to many others. She maintained her sense of humour right until the end. Leona has shown a tremendous courage and support for Linda that only a mother's love can encompass. May she rest in peace in God our father. Heartfelt sympathy to the O'Brien family.

I worked with Linda many years ago at the VG lab in Centeal Accessioning before she started in Hematology. We were one big close team that used to socialize a lot. She was so funny and lively; a joy to be around, and loved her stories of working at Scotsburn We shared a love of ice cream.I admired her bravery and strength in her later years. So very sorry to learn of her passing...my deepest condolences to you all. Take care.

I was saddened to see Linda's obituary just moments ago. I worked for several years in St. Martha's lab services often in the registration area and met Linda there. After retiring I often wondered how she was doing. Linda was a dear, dear person. Brave, kind, patient, optimistic and so so genuine. Someone who obviously cared for others even in the face of her own health issues. I offer my sincere condolences on her passing.

So sorry for your loss. I had the beautiful fortune of meeting Linda when my dad was diagnosed with blood cancer more than 5 years ago. It was a random conversation while I worked at the Prissy Pig. Linda was such a caring soul that she and her mom came to visit my dad and mom during one of Dads treatments. Linda touched hearts wherever she me. I am very grateful to have been one of them. My sincerest condolences to all of you.
