I was very sad to hear of the passing of Janet. She was a cousin of mine and a very kind and caring women. She was like a grandmother to me, and was always there when I needed her.
I know I will always miss her but I know she will be watching over all her family and friends from up in heaven. God Bless her✝️

Hughie, Allan, Michael, Gary and Liz,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Your mother was a wonderful woman, full of strength and goodness.
We enjoyed our frequent visits with her and she loved all the care packages of goodies we made. Occasionally she would have a treat made for us in return. She sure loved to make those butterscotch marshmallow squares and boy did Henry enjoy them.
We will really miss our visits with her.
Our deepest sympathy, Henry and Helen Delorey

My sympathy to all Janet’s family on her passing. She was a great friend of my Mom, Rita Chisholm, who lived in Apt.17, and she was very good and attentive to her. She was a strong lady, and always busy doing something at the Manor, or listening to her fiddle tunes on the radio!
She has left lots of memories for everyone and they will bring smiles on many occasions! There will be a huge void at Greenwold Manor.
Caring Thoughts are sent your way.

To Hughie, Allan, Michael, Gary, Betty and families.
We are so sorry to learn of Aunt Janet’s passing. My parents were Lillian and John, I recall with fondness of growing up within walking distance to their house. Lillian and Janet were sisters and the very best of friends. Lots of long chats and sharing of recipes and advice on raising a big family. She will be missed by many. RIP Aunt Janet!!
With love,
Peggy & Ray Doiron

To Janet's Family,
Janet looked after my two oldest kids when they were little. We loved Janet. Such a hard worker. We would come home to happy children, supper started, and house work all done. She would even darn my husband's socks, if they had holes in them. I remember her quick little steps and shy quiet manner. I would only bump into her a few times after she moved from St. Andrews. May she rest in peace.
Clare and Terry Kennedy.

Hughie, Allan, Mike, Gary and Liz: Sincere condolences on your mother's passing. She was a strong woman and very independent in that she raised her young family alone when my uncle passed. At that time there was little in the way of financial assistance to help young mothers with children and she never complained and provided for all of you. She had lots of sorrows in her life, losing her own mother at an early age and her husband in her mid-30's. Her concern was for her children who came first in her life. She was so proud of all of you and you can be equally as proud to have had such a caring and loving mother. I will cherish so many wonderful memories of your mother and her kindness to me. She was a woman of great faith and I know she is now being rewarded for her many acts of kindness to others. May she rest in peace. God Bless all of you.
