To Jim's family..
So sorry that Jim has left you all too soon. Have fond memories of him and all his siblings growing up in Heatherton together. Our Mom Theresa Lauchie considered Martha one of her dearest friends. Truly sad that she has lost her son, and for all of you to lose a brother, husband, father and grandfather. One of the truly good guys is gone too soon Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Rest peacefully Jim.
Sincerely,
Nena (nee MacDonald) Nauss

Jimmy will always be in my memory teasing me..."Are you a Habs' or Devils' fan, Rob?". Then there would be a big laugh. He would always ask how you were doing, never drawing attention to himself. I didn't know him really well, but it was very clear from his interactions with others, that he will truly be missed. I can still hear that big hearty laugh.
Heaven gained a great person. God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. He fought a good battle. Terry worked with Jimmy at Trenton Works. They would often bump into each other and get caught up. Always smiling. To Diane, family, brothers and sisters. Remembering Jimmy Day as one of the good guys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Terry and Clare Kennedy

I am so sorry for your loss. He was such an amazing man. My mom loved him so much and his kindess to our family will never be forgotten. I am sure Hughie greeted him with a glass of whiskey and a big hug. Heaven just got a whole lot rowdier with those two back together again. <3
