Obituary of James Frederick Day

James Frederick Day, 63, of St. Andrews, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish he was the son of Martha MacDonald (Day) and the late Fred Day. 

Jimmy worked at Trenton Car Works for many years then as a drywaller with Southeast Drywall Company. He was a hard and dependable worker and he would help anyone who needed a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, sons Joseph (Shelly), Timothy (Maia) and daughter Elana (Jose); four beautiful grandchildren, Sienna, Noa, Eli and Thia whom he dearly loved; brothers Darrel (Carolyn) and Sean (Michael) and two sisters Della (Bill) and Margie as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A private funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in St. Andrew's Church, St. Andrews, Rev. Charlie Cameron presiding. Livestream link can be found by clicking tab on left.
