Dear Patsy and all of Annie’s family.
Sorry to learn of your mom’s passing but she would surely be welcomed in heaven by her boys and many friends who have gone before. She and my mom were always good friends and I remember many visits to her home. Lovely slideshow.

I knew Annie through my mom and dad being her friend all our lives growing up in North Grant. As well I used to say hello to her at the RK often while visiting my dad. I loved seeing her and talking to her. My mom always told me what a great cook Annie was and if she was half as good as a person, that must have been really great.
Best

Dear Patsy and family.
To one of the greatest persons to walk this earth, Annie will forever be in my memory. In my younger years I worked on the family farm during hay season and could always be treated like one of the family. Our parents were very good friends and Annie being the lovely person she was, always extended that graciousness to myself. After three seasons with the MacPherson’s I departed Nova Scotia, however upon my visits home, I always made it a point to visit with Jim and Annie and always invited for tea and eats. Always made everyone welcomed to their home. Annie-Rest In Peace.
Forever fondly remembered. Sid and Sharon Slade, Sherwood Park,AB

Our condolences to Patsy and Hugh and families on the passing of Annie .She always made you welcome anytime we were in Antigonish either buying a vehicle or our daughter Amanda at STFX we always tried to get out to see Annie and the teapot was always put on for a extended visit .When she visited mom here in North Sydney we always got down or she came up to see us.She never forgot the time we invited her and Dee up for tea and Ed had to get a few teabags from his mom because I ran out. What a laugh we had! The next time she visited she gave me a fancy tea cup with a teabag! Our 3 girls loved seeing the farm when they were small. We will miss her. Many happy memories. Unfortunately the winter weather has prevented our presence at her wake and funeral but our thoughts are with you all. Ed and Marni Sheffield and family

Our prayers are with all who loved Annie. As children me and my sisters loved stopping in for a visit with her. She always had stories to tell about her cousin, my grandmother Dee (Lorraine) and some of the best baked goods. I have the quilts she made many many years ago when I was born. My own daughter snuggles up in now.
She was a wonderful lady. May God surround you with love and may you remember all the good times.
