So saddened to hear about Bernie's passing. Met Bernie after my mom moved into the Maples, and he was always a big presence there. At the Friday afternoon pubs, it didn't matter the type of music being played, Bernie knew the song, the artist, and he could sing along. Bernie looked out for the other residents and he will be greatly missed. Condolences to all Bernie's family and friends.

I remember Bernard taking pride in bringing me as a 5 year old to his class at Morrison school. It was bring your little brother to school for some kind of party but he didn’t have a little brother so he asked Mom and Dad if he could bring me. I had only just met Bernard as we had just come back from France. He was always proud of his nieces and nephews and was always asking about how we all were doing. He tried to p play the tough guy role but in his heart he was a real softie. My thoughts are with the family at this time. Jill and I have you in our thoughts
RIP “Dude”
