My condolences to Sister Anne's family, and all who knew her. She was a committed, wise and compassionate person who brought so much to everyone she was involved with, as a client, colleague, friend or whatever. I was a family physician in New Waterford, working with Sister Anne was always a great pleasure, it was wonderful to know that I could trust my patients to her care. She was always calm and thoughtful and would work so hard to understand who they were and how she could help them. I particularly remember our informal conversations, which were like an oasis in the middle of a chaotic day, she was a gift and sadly missed when she moved back to Antigonish. Like so many others, I felt I was a better person for having known her.
