I’m so sorry I am unable to be with family members as my back goes out more than I do ,however,I’m grieving from afar .
Despite having a busy life, what was most important to Ronnie was family.Ronnie had a special bond with each of his nieces, nephews and their children. He would light
up when they came to visit and would spend hours with them. This was the big kid in Ronnie.
Ronnie’s remarkable gift was his capacity to understand people. With his calming demeanour,he offered advice and help to anyone in need .
His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the love he gave.
On a lighter note,we had great times on the deck and on Robert’s as well ,eating lots of freshly caught seafood.
Your mother would go to bed early and would wake the next morning with wall to wall people on the floor. She always took it in stride. You are so much like your mother.
You were a wonderful brother in law.You were over the moon when Billy married a “ Bay Girl “.Not many are awarded that gift. lol
You left us way too soon ,however, your parents welcomed you with opened arms.
I know the Point ,your Caper ski friends and many more are mourning you as well.
“ You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” Dr.Seuss
The world would be a better place in more people were like Ronnie .RIP.

My sincere condolences go out to Ronnie's family. Although I only met him a few times I had heard Ronnie was a kind man and I know that for certain in the past few years. He took time out for others in Christian ways. My deceased brother Robert (formerly of Lower South River) certainly expressed a fondness for him and no doubt they both shared many moments of laughter as long time golf buddies. I am so glad I met him on a few occasions. RIP Ronnie. Sincerely, Paula Purcell, Ottawa

I was so shocked and sad to hear of Ronnie's unexpected passing. The MacEachern family were always very close to us MacDonalds. We always said we were double cousins, uncle Joe on mum's side and Rosie on Dad's. Seven of us "kids" in each family. Now six of us left in each family. Ronnie was a quiet gentle soul in my memory. To all the family our sincerest sympathy.

I am very sorry for your loss on a brother, brother in law, and uncle. I first met Ronnie at work, but we became good friends along with the other Capers that skied with him. Ronnie was a great friend and he would instruct us on how and where to ski. We travelled on our bus trips with the ski gang which Ronnie was an important member. We will all miss him, but he will always be in our hearts. He left us with so many great memories.

To the MacEachern family, I had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie at Glen Lovat Tuesday morning seniors golfing. The last time we were paired together we found out he was not a good cart driver as I would not let him behind the wheel again! Had a good laugh over that and it’s a laugh I will never forget. My condolences to all.

I was so shocked to hear of Ron’s passing. We’ve played golf most every day for years. He and I played in the Ironman every year as well. He believed we should look at the end of the game as “good to get out “ regardless of the score. My sincerest condolences are extended to family and friends.
