My condolences to family and friends. I shared some good memories with Bobby during our Burnaby Detachment days. We worked general duty together, played hockey and partied as part of “D” watch. I only have fond memories of Bobby, gods speed. Always Maryk

I am very, very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He and I were travel buddies on many trips from Gander to Glovertown while we were posted together with the RCMP.
Bob was full of both life and energy. He was hard to keep up with and could he ever work out on the weights.
To his family and many friends, please accept my sincere condolences.

May God give you the strength and may you cherish all the best memories that the have with the short time you were able to share. So saddened to read of Bobby’s passing. Bobby was always so pleasant to speak with and it was always nice to see him with his loyal dog at his side. After Ian joined the RCMP whenever he was home and ran into Bobby, Bobby always took the time to speak with him especially about fitness.
Please accept our sincere condolences to all the Chisholm family. Thinking of everyone at this difficult time.

Chisholm Family,
Bobby Dazz was our teammate and friend for two years as Nova Scotia Midget A Champs and at the Wrigley Nationals in Calgary. We could always count on Bobby and his dad Frank as our official drivers. Bobby loved the big games and his role as a speedy winger with hit-first attitude and ask questions later, with a smile of course.
As an X-men wearing the Blue and White was living the dream for Bobby because he loved everything about St.F.X.
We will miss our wingman with the curls and pivots stops and starts.
Peace Be with you all
Marty Sullivan and all the Bulldogs and Xmen Families

Condolences to all the Chisholm's from the mountains of Mexico. I had the fun of accompanying Daz when he went to the Wrigley Hockey Championship in 1976. Always a smile, always hard-working, always there for his friends (I daresay that these are traits that Mary and Frank instilled in all their boys). Kudos to the persons(s) who wrote such an honest and inspiring obituary; it is a great tribute to an exceptionally good man.

To all of Bobby’s family
I want to send my deepest condolences on Bobby’s passing. Not being a native Antigonishers, I got to know Bobby in high school through our common love of sports. I had to fortune to play softball with him on the Robertson Jrs team for a couple of years and he certainly was one of the best athletes and teammates. Lots of laughs. Got to share some time with him a few years ago at our reunion and he always had that smile and joy within him that always kept us laughing and thankful for his presence. Rest in Peace Bobby.

To the Chisholm Family,
Very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. The obituary does an amazing job of capturing his life, light and spirit. One of the best summers I had in Antigonish was playing for the first iteration of a softball team sponsored by Robertson's Electric (the Juniors). Bob's dad Frank, Jack Cat and Rick MacKinnon were our coaches and Daz was our rock behind the plate - what fun!! I'll always remember Daz as a passionate and fun guy to be around. I hope your great memories of him comfort you at this difficult time.

Till this day, I tell people how I called my mom after my first 3-a-day STFX football practice, wondering if I had made the right choice; there was this crazy ass coach who ran us all day, and I was told that he was just getting started. Thank you Bobby for those talks on the field, countless days in the dungeon, and many hours in the squat rack always pushing me to be my best. It was always a pleasure sir, Rest Easy.

My sincere condolences to the entire Chisholm Clan on the loss of your beloved Bobby. I first met Bobby as a young kid on the Baseball field. We became close friends when the county kids joined the townies in Grade 10 at the Regional. Our mutual love of the Boston Bruins played a role. We all knew him as Daz! Adventures too many to mention and stories that would take a lifetime to tell. When Bobby was applying to the RCMP, he sat me down and asked me to be a charcter reference. He said "Reg, I'm just gonna ask you one thing, don't tell them what I'm really like". Not to worry Daz, you received the most glowing reference ever. When I think of Bobby, the words confident, driven, athletic, ambitious, compassionate, disciplined and optimistic are just a few that come to mind. We had great times both on and off the field winning the 1979 Provincial High School Softball Title together. Man, could he pick guys off at 1st base! Glory Days as Springsteen says. The boys were happy when Bobby was able to attend our 40th reunion in 2019. Great times. Every sport Bobby tried, he excelled. He never took shortcuts. I had a great visit with Bobby in July. We talked about old times but spent more time talking about the future with his typical unbound optimism. I will miss my friend dearly. Rest in peace Catcher Daz!

My sincere condolences to the family. I met Bobby when he was home for a visit in Antigonish. I was attending St. F.X and was considering joining the RCMP and I remember his enthusiasm over his experience in Depot and Burnaby. His stories encouraged me to join. I lost touch with Bobby but remember to this day this impressive young man who served as a mentor for me. I proudly remember seeing his name inscribed on the leader board at Depot as an outstanding athlete as I would brag to others that I knew him.
Once again my deepest condolences. No words can ease the pain of the loss of such an impressive person may you find some comfort in knowing that his life made a difference for others and may you cherish the times you spent together.
Chief Superintendent (Ret’d) Tom O’NEILL
